Modalities
Art Therapy
Art Therapy is an accessible and creative form of psychotherapy that uses the process of making art with a variety of materials to support emotional wellbeing and personal insight. Sessions are facilitated by licensed, registered Art Therapists who are trained to guide the therapeutic use of creative expression. Children, teens, adults, and couples can all benefit from the healing potential of art making in therapy.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapies
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) are structured goal-oriented forms of psychotherapy that helps individuals identify and change negative or distorted thought patterns and behaviors through a skills-based approach to treatment. DBT places emphasis on emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and mindfulness.
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a form of mental health treatment that explores how unconscious, unresolved conflicts, stemming from childhood or past experiences, impact current behavior, emotions, and relationships. This insight-oriented form of therapy aims to increase self-awareness and provide insight to create lasting change.
Trauma-Informed Care
Trauma-Informed Care or trauma-informed psychotherapy is a compassionate, evidence-based approach to mental health treatment that recognizes the impact of trauma on the nervous system and focuses on building safety, empowerment, and healing rather than just symptom reduction.
